History of MVWA
MVWA began as the Armco Carvers club, at the old Armco (now AK) steel plant in Middletown in 1981. In 1991 our
name was changed to "Miami Valley Woodcarvers Association. Our club membership is approximately 100.

Membership
Annual dues are $12 per person, $18 for a family membership. This membership covers the cost of patterns, blanks,
guest-lecturers and doorprizes at business meetings. There is no cost for visitors at meetings.
