History in Graveyards:

Mysterious deaths, Nacy Luce's chickens, revolutionary war heroes, Puritan missionaries, flying skulls, whaling mutinies, and other Island scandals.

Route:

Beginning in Edgartown, the tour takes visitors through West Tisbury and Vineyard Haven, ending back in Edgartown. These towns have three of the oldest graveyards on Martha's Vineyard. At each cemetary the guide will take visitors around and share some of the stories behind these permanent residents of the Island.

The tour begins on Church Street and ends at the corner of Pease Point Way and Cooke St.
