Remembering ALL whose lives
were lost
on that infamous day, September 11, 2001,
when American hearts were shattered along
with the magnificent Twin Towers in New York!
In horror and disbelief we watched as two
American planes,commandeered by blood~thirsty
terrorists, plunged headlong
into first one Tower
and then the other.
Those cowardly terrorists, bent upon
mass
destruction, took many brave & innocent
lives to their deaths; both passengers and
those in The Twin Towers.
PLUS, many more who were
public servants
lost their lives attempting rescues!
America has not forgotten you, dear ones,
who lost loved ones to the despicable acts
of those by whom we are SO HATED!
WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!!!
Our prayerful thoughts continue for you.
As another September 11th approaches, we
remember your tear~stained faces. We
remember your desperation in trying to locate
your loved ones, hoping against hope to
find them still alive.
We remember the thousands
of memorial services
held across America; the
candles glowing
brightly; the floral tributes;
the songs & poems
written; Old Glory waving from every nook
and cranny; the funerals (as ALL America
shared your grief). Yes, and we remember
the volunteers (some coming to aid from
far away), day after day as weariness gripped
them, digging through the rubble.
And a thousand pictures more are indelible imprints,
replaying unbidden across our minds as
on
a movie film. Ever do they remind us
how MUCH was LOST, not only to you
personally, but by ALL AMERICANS!
That sense of SWEET~SECURITY; the
lack of cautiousness with strangers, believing
that if they are on American soil, they
must be potential FRIENDS!
The FREEDOM we once enjoyed to travel
fear~free across the world or just across
these great United States, taking no
thought we may be putting our very lives
at risk!
Public gatherings once thought carefree
outings, now approached with caution;
knowing not if some EVIL~CRAZED terrorists
are lurking there bent upon our demise!
Americans now must be on guard, for our
lives are forever changed in one aspect or
another. HATE~MONGERS continue to
spew out their evils ~ with ammunition of both
words and EXPLOSIVES meant to KILL!
KILL ~ KILL ~ KILL ~ if not physically,
then at least KILL our SPIRIT!!!
Even as I write this, brave & loyal
American military are losing their lives
daily in foreign lands to PROTECT our
FREEDOM . . . day in ~ day out facing our
enemies. I feel sure in the back of
their
minds is always the thought
"Will I be spared to return to my homeland;
my family and my home?"
They, too, are in our daily thoughts
and prayers.
September 11, 2003 reminds us ALL of our
vulnerabilities. Those of us who serve GOD
realize our allegiance to HIM precludes our
harboring hatred in our hearts for ANYONE!
GOD KNOWS our hearts; KNOWS how they
have been broken by EVIL deeds done us.
GOD also KNOWS those in America who
are ANTI~CHRISTS; using political power
to try to REMOVE even the mention of
HIS NAME from our lives!
AHHH~ BUT THEY SHALL NOT SUCCEED!!!
IF GOD BE FOR US; WHO CAN BE
AGAINST US ! HALLELUYAH !!!
September 11, 2003 is a reminder to ALL
GOD~FEARING Americans to put on
The WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD that we
may be able to stand against THE EVIL ONE!
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities and powers; against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:11~12
YES, our thoughts & prayers are with
you, dear ones, asking our Father to
undergird you with HIS strength, His
precious LOVE & PEACE; His perfect
presence, in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST.
