10 ON OPPOSITE TACKS

In the animation, the yellow boat is on starboard-tack and the pink boat is on port-tack. Pink needs to keep clear of yellow. Yellow hails "Starboard" to pink. Pink should, under rule 10, keep clear. Yellow tacks to avoid a collision and protests pink for not keeping clear.
