Consistency is needed in times of change...
Is your child starting pre-school or Kindergarten this fall? Are you concerned that keeping Kindermusik in his/her schedule
will overload him/her? Actually, the opposite is true. With all the changes in his/her life, keeping him/her in Kindermusik
provides the consistency required to make the transition easier. With life getting busier, and your child's activities more
independent in nature, Kindermusik is one place the two of you can spend time focused on each other.
Imagine That! takes you and your child on a musical journey of discovery and exploration…a journey limited
only by the power of imagination. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement,
and literature to capture your child's potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality.
Imagine That! is designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative pre-schoolers and encourages socializing,
sharing, and participating in group activities. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the pre-schooler’s vocal development
as his expressive language is just beginning to emerge.

Toys I Make, Trips I Take
What's more exciting to a 3-or 4-year-old than a new toy? How about an entire Toy Shop full of toys! A remarkable toy shop,
filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box, and many other toys is exactly what your child will enjoy. While activities
are centered on a child's pretend play and imagination, the unit firmly integrates the learning process by placing a strong
musical emphasis on singing, steady beat, and ensemble, as well as rhythm and rhythmic patterns. The two literature books
are "Tippity Tippity Too" and "If I Had a Big Blue Boat." A specially designed drum is the featured home instrument.

Cities! Busy Places, Friendly Faces
This unit transports your child into a city, where ordinary sounds and sights on the street make a musical ensemble. People
shuffle their feet to a 4/4 beat. Street musicians serenade and sing. Clock towers boom, bellow, and ring. The class will
create a city that's familiar, yet like no other. Using visual tools and home activities, children will transform the classroom,
build a city out of handcrafted "buildings" and walk down sidewalks made of masking tape and freezer paper. The
two literature books are "Razupatu Toto" and "Down Our Street." Resonator Bars are the featured instrument.
