Well the Christmas Season is at an end. I finally finished decorating and now it is time to take everything down. I did learn a few things this season though; the value of a quality tree stand, that it is hard to find fuzes for christmas lights, and that Christmas Tree decorations do not come with those #$#$ hooks. But Christmas blunders nonwithstanding, our home was well decorated, and the tree was quite pretty.
My father and I built a push-powered go kart for my two nieces. Made to seat the two of them together, it was a big hit. We pushed them around their cul-de-sac and they were the envy of the neighborhood kids. I think that their father had better start jogging. All in all, we were pretty happy with the way the holidays went.
Michele is doing very well at her work. Her department has the largest sales increase of all similar departments in her company. The hard work and dedication has started to pay off. She is pretty nerve racked from the Christmas Season, but she now has to jump over Valentines Day and Easter before she can take a breath- and a break.
We have a new addition to our family now. She is a cute little black and white cat named Dot. We haven't had her that long, but she likes her home and is pretty happy with us. She does manage to hide in the darndest places, like our medicine cabinet.
As for me, well I'm hanging in there. I will be going back to college in August and I hope to do well. I do not know if I'll stay with my current major or see about something else. I'll let you know when I do.
