IDPA vs. IPSC targets
As the reader can see, the overall dimensions are roughly similar. The three most noteworthy
differences are:
- The IDPA target has one zone for the head (5pts) while the IPSC has the small A
zone (5pts) surrounded by the B zone (4pts)
- The IDPA target's 4 zone (4pts) is roughly the same size as the IPSC C zone (3pts)
except that the scoring is higher for the IDPA target
- The IDPA target's 5 zone (5pts) is a circle of 8" in diameter where the IPSC target's
A zone is a rectangle.
