One beautiful day while in Southern California, on our lifelong quest,
visiting all the major antique centers around the world, we wandered into the most unusual shop.
In a quiet little city, just inland from the well beaten path known as the El Camino Real,
(and not far from the beautiful Pacific coastline),
was this miraculous wonderland of antiques, lamps, furniture, toys, dolls, baskets ,
in a maze of displaysand cabinetschock - fullof itemsrelating to the turn of
the last century... and before.As I wandered through the store, I found at least a dozen old items that I remember seeing as a child.
It was like a step back in time, to the good old days! I found this and other paintings...
Now, every time I think of my visit to Old Towne Plaza, in Orange, CA,
I smile to myself, and remember my secret source for completing all my
antique restoration projects at home, halfway around the world.
Which brings to mind the excellent service they provide through UPS and the Post office.
Just by calling Muff's and using my visa or mastercharge card, over the phone,
or by mail (order form), I can have it all without ever leaving the house.
