Charles Butterworth, Jimmy Durante, and a bunch of people I didn't know, and, of course, Nelson Eddy--another of his bit parts. The movie's another shrug with a ho-hum plot and a few chuckles. Nelson Eddy looks somewhat foolish singing his, again, one song--he didn't seem to know what to do with himself out there--but the song itself is fantastic; he may look silly but he sounds fabulous. I especially like that he sings the last chorus in a lower key--apparently just because he could.*
