Blueberry View Artist's Retreat is a not-for-profit, no-cost, artist-in-residence opportunity.

Founded in 2008, we are still getting our bearings, but offer a 300+sf studio and 1 bedroom apartment to artists in any genre. At this point we are probably best suited for 2D work, writers, performance etc.  We have no facility for ceramics or traditional sculpture yet.

It is a simple setting, designed as a space for concentrated contemplative work.  We are 2 hours from Chicago by car, and you will probably want to have a car while you are here for shopping and the beach.  Feel free to email us with any questions you might have.

Residencies are anticipated to be 2 weeks or 4 weeks, beginning in May of 2009. A formal application is now available by email.
