The Sun Country Model T Club of Phoenix, Arizona, was chartered in 1975 by 18 families as a chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America and incorporated as a not-for profit corporation in the state of Arizona in 1977.

Our by-laws state that we will serve as a medium for the exchange of ideas, parts and information among admirers of the incomparable Ford, Model T. We will also assist in the restoration, maintenance and preservation of the Model T.

We have united as the SCMTC to achieve the above purposes and help the car owners, operators and their families to become better acquainted, encourage good citizenship, and enjoy fellowship. We schedule several club-sponsored events each year; members with speedsters regularly participate in speedster runs put on by other clubs as well as our own.

The club is a non-commercial, non-sectarian, non-partisan, and not-for-profit club chartered in the Grand Canyon State of Arizona.

Our general membership meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month except for January, June, July and August.

We publish a newsletter called Leaks From Lizzie once a month with information about our activities past, present and future. It goes to more than one hundred members and several other Model T clubs in the Western states.
