Graveyard
The cemetery in Szekeleyzsombor is on the way to the top of a hill where the ruins of an old fortress stand. The cemetery is primarily owned by the Lutheran church, although Unitarians can also pay to be buried there. The graves are well tended with living plants.
Hill
Further up the hill, the views of Homorod Valley were quite spectacular.

Lyn and Gita at Fort
Jobb Gita showed me around the fortress ruins. The fortress was built by the Szekeley people during (by Gita's estimate) the sixteenth century. Young people gather there on nights when there is a full moon.

This is the view from the entrance of the fortress. You can see a corner of the ruins on the right.
