My cousin, Timothy Lagasse, is a puppeteer on this wonderful program on PBS. He
is the voice of both Arty Smartypants and Barnaby B. Busterfield, as well as Watson, Gus the rabbit, the Rock, Steve the Bowling Ball, the Hopping Hen, Fuzzy Wuzzy and the King. The web site is wonderful. I have videotaped all of the 30 minute shows in the second season.
Who are the puppeteers for the characters, and who provides their voices? The puppeteers for Between
the Lions are Kathryn Mullen (Puppet Captain), Anthony Asbury (Co-Captain), Heather Asch, Jennifer Barnhart, Tyler Bunch, Tim
Lagasse, Peter Linz, and Jim Napolitano. Some of the
puppets are actually operated by two people, but the voices you hear used to be Peter's (Theo), Jennifer's (Cleo), Anthony's (Lionel),
Kathy's (Leona), and Heather's (Click).
This appeared on the Feedback page of the old BTL site! Nancy of CT wrote: I
think you should update the FAQ about who voices which
puppets. Can you add that Tim Lagasse is the voice of
Barnaby B. (don't call me Buster) Busterfield, Gus the
Bunny and (build the excitement drum roll, please) Arty Smartypants? Between the Lions replies: We have a full list of credits for the show, and Mr. Lagasse makes several appearances there. We'll look into creating a puppet-specific listing in the future.

Association that Tim has given to me for our classroom.
I have hung it near the classroom door. Thanks, Tim!
