Adelaide joined us
at the very end of 1999 from Jean Baugh's herd in Texas. At the 2000
Boone County Fair she was shown against dry yearlings and was second to GCH Goddard
Farm Teresa 5*M, who is a full year older than Adelaide. Adelaide is G6S tested normal. Adelaide is bred to Neptune.
Goddard Farm Spin-A Rhapsody is a favorite with everyone who meets her. Her color attracts a lot of attention, but she is just as beautiful conformationally, as evidenced by her first place and first place udder at the 2004 MO State Fair. Rhapsody is bred to Brigadier. *B Whirlabout is G6S tested normal. We want to thank Kathy Mease from the Wi Na De Ya herd for allowing us to purchase Black Tie Elite Catalina. We have admired the Black Tie herd since meeting Janet Rogers at one of our spring shows. Unfortunately, Janet is not longer breeding goats and obtaining a Black Tie doe was quite difficult as they seemed to be much in demand. Catalina was our fourth try, but probably the best of the bunch. She freshened December 19, 2004 and we are extremely pleased with her udder attachment. Catalina had two buck kids by Capering Valley Bull Moose and we will be anxiously watching them grow and dreaming of next years kids- hopefully does! A Proverbial Caprine Sabrina is Sire:
CH Goddard Farm LS Neptune Sabrina's parents are G6S tested normal. A Proverbial Caprine Renate' is an easy favorite for anyone that meets her. She placed 4th in a large class of gorgeous yearlings at Tonganoxie, and we were very pleased when she was 2nd place dry yearling at the 2003 MO State Fair. Nickel's Shenandoah Legacy is the daughter of Nickel's Walnut Smoothie (Smooth Operator daughter) and Goddard Farm Odie. Legacy milked 9.9 lbs on milk test, earning her milking star, and placed right behind her litter sister at the first Tonganoxie show, May 22, 2004. Her sister has since finished her championship. Our Congratulations to Shamuse. We were very proud of Legacy's accomplishments and look forward to showing her again.

Sagitta won a Reserve Championship at the Boon Companions Dairy Goat Show on June 5. She is the first doe I have shown that really seems to love all the excitement of showing and after her first show, she is now easily walked around the ring and set up. Casiopeia has been vying with our other beautiful yearlings for a spot on the trailer, and has only been out once. Sagitta was bred to Spinnaker and produced doelings. Casiopeia was bred to Smoothie and produce bucks. We are impressed with these bucklings; very nice quality.

Liberty is the doe kid that we kept from our first set of quadruplets. She really seems to be growing into a very attractive doe. Liberty was bred to Neptune and produced a single doe.

Kay-em’s R-hood’s Rysque is a doeling that is dear to our heart. We purchased and raised Copper-Hill Brkaway’s Carousel, but we lost her to fast-acting pneumonia before she ever kidded. Carousel’s brother, Robinhood, lives in Michigan, and Marge Perrin was nice enough to let us purchase this doeling that he sired. His granddam, Bobette, was on the 2003 Top Ten list. Rysque does look quite a bit like her aunt, and it is wonderful to have Carousel’s niece in our herd. Rysque’s dam’s litter sister was #2 for milk production and butterfat and tied for #1 in protein on the 2003 Top Ten list. Our congratulations to Marge and Crackers. Rysque is bred to Orion.
