DANCE WITH YOUR HEART
All Dance album -- a whole new genre of
music, based on Biblical principles. "Worship dance" is becoming more
popular, and it fits right in with the concept of this album. You could use it
as a background for your own dance groups, or you could use it as a prototype to
train musicians in this new genre. Its core is interaction between harp and
drum. Dancing is good for the heart, and the rhythms used are based on solid
research over many years. Many passages in the Bible have made it clear that
music, dance, and community worship are supposed to go together. The present
music industry system of highly paid celebrity performers is the exact opposite
of what is described in the Bible. So by supporting this album, you will create
a leveraging effect that will be part of a movement that revitalizes many
Christian communities.
Estimated initial production cost: $2,500, which is
mostly studio time.
PSALMS
A very simple album consisting of psalms read over gentle
music. To be released for sale mostly in churches, as an aid to contemplation,
study, and understanding. Estimated production cost: about $600.
RIDING THROUGH A RAINBOW
Symphonic work, based on harp
compositions. Very modern sound. A couple of the songs have already been
recorded. Estimated inital production cost, $1,500 plus packaging, which would
probably be about another $1,000.
EXISTING ALBUMS READY FOR CD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM:
CELTIC COLLECTION: Has proven itself many times over. There is an existing demand for CD copies of this. Everyone loves Irish music! Several distribution channels are wide open and ready to go as soon as the product is available.
ANGELS IN THE ATTIC: Based on the Angel Harp developed by Rev. Barbie Edwards. Mix of solo and layered compositions. Etheric sounds, excellent for background. Children especially like this album. Most of the solo sections were recorded live at my cabin in Wyoming.
GYPSY FIRE: Very unusual, Flamenco and Arabic scales done on the harp. It has a great sales potential for gyms, since it was designed from the beginning for moderate exercise.
Any of these can be put up to CD for about $3,000 each. This includes the initial run of 1,000 copies, plus packaging. Throughout the music business, typical production costs are generally about three times as much, so being able to put these up and get them selling for so little money is a real achievement!
FUNDING
-- for any of these projects can be through direct loans, donations, or sponsorships. The sponsorship program includes many advantages for the sponsors, including recognition of support for the fine arts among existing clientele, and expansion of awareness of the organization through sales generated by my own organization.
