Boba Fett

BOBA FETT
(First Try)

© 1996 Joel A. Hoekstra

This is the first little drawing I did after I got my new WACOM ArtPad II drawing pad. I did it completely from scratch with Photoshop paint tools. Of course, I didn't draw Boba Fett from memory, I used a wide variety of reference materials to get the details right. When I say I drew him "from scratch," I mean that I didn't do any preliminary sketches, which is a bit unusual for me. Mostly I was just interested in trying to duplicate a range of textures with my new WACOM toy, and it turned out better than I expected.
