Kif first appears as the XO of Zap Brannigan's Nimbus. He continues as Zap's aide later in the series.

Kif is the power behind Zap Brannigan. Whether he's taking blame for Zap's errors or feeding Earth's greatest hero ideas, Kif is indispensible. While aboard the Titanic Kif encountered Amy, leading to a long term relationship with her as his Sizmar, father to their tadpoles.

Kiff is an interesting fellow. During his mating season he can be impregnated with the DNA of anyone that touches him. He has a camoflauge reflex. And he is boneless, his posture maintained by pressure in a bundle of bladders.
