Mystery Of The Universe #4 Reincarnation
MOTU #4 Reincarnation
I'm afraid unless you believe in the spirit and soul of man, this will have no meaning for you. If you believe the mind of man is simply a chemical reaction in the brain, and thought and memory stop when the chemical reactions stop, then you will never understand or except reincarnation.
Reincarnation can only be possible if the mind and memory of man is separate from the body and brain. In order to remember having lived before, memory must not only survive the grave, it must also be able to be born again in a different place, and a different time. The only way this could be possible is if the mind and memories of man, are separate from the body and brain of man.
Our Id; our inner self, is our spirit and our soul. We are not the bodies and brains that our spirits are attached to presently, they are but an instrument for our use, and when the brain dies, the spirit moves on to find another instrument to use.
We acquire our spirit the moment our brain first begins to function. It is the chemical reactions in the brain that allows for the connection to take place. Think of the brain as a chemical battery; you need all the right parts in the all the right places before the current will flow, and once there is a current, the lights will go on.
That current opens a link into another dimension. Which is also sometimes called the Universal Mind and sometimes the Chaos. Both of these terms are the same thing and really are just another dimension. A dimension with no physical attributes, but our physical universe could not exist without it. It is the dimension of thought; the realm of our spirits, and the repository of memories.
Our spirits dwell in this dimension, and are trapped there. They can only pear into this universe through our brains, but they have created this universe in an attempt to escape, and our brains are their instruments to do so.
Right now, the best our spirits can do is connect to the brains of a short lived beast, and interact with this universe through our senses. When the beast dies, they must wait for another to be born, and the chemical reactions in that new brain to start carrying a current, before they can make another connection.
When connected to our physical brains, we forget we are still in the other dimension, we become the beast that is our body, and get lost in our physical senses. It is only when the brain is asleep, or nearly so, that our spirits begin to remember, and can sense the other spirits and thoughts in the Universal Mind. As long as our focus is here; in this physical universe, that is all we can see or feel, but once we stop looking out, and are able to gaze back in, we have access to all the memories and knowledge that is contained in the dimension of thought.
Reincarnation is the process our spirits use to advance both the beasts we inhabit and our inner selves into becoming what we have defined as a "Solid Soul."
There are two problems with the advancement to the ‘solid soul,' the advancement of the human species to the point it no longer is "The Beast," and can accommodate the spirit in a respectable manner. The other is with our spirits themselves. There still are many ‘juvenile' spirits in the Chaos. Our spirits are still learning too. What we see around us in everyday life is a reflection of the spirits in the Chaos. Our minds are our spirits, our personalities reflect the state of our spirits.
How our spirits connect to what brain is pretty much by pure chance, it just depends on what spirits are in the ‘neighborhood' when the link appears. Some spirits who have shared a life together before, may cling close together in the Universal Mind, and seek to reenter the world as close to each other as possible. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't, and they may end up chasing each other for centuries before catching up to each other.
Once a spirit is connected to a brain, other spirits can also attach themselves through their link to the Universal Mind, and influence the brain of the beast to a greater or lesser extent. A juvenile spirit may not have the ‘will power' to cast off an invading spirit, and depending on the attaching spirit, it can cause all kinds of problems, both mentally and physically, or it can be a ‘benign' spirit and bring enlightenment.
Reincarnation is the process we use to advance our ourselves both mentally and physically. As our spirits push the beast further and further along the evolutionary line, our spirits are also evolving to a high enlightenment. cck

Could it just be wishful thinking for those who believe in reincarnation? Some people might be fooling themselves into believing what they want to believe. I would like to live forever. I think maybe medical science will find a cure for the aging process before I get old and die, but maybe I am just deluding myself to think that.
