Mystery Of The Universe #2 ESP and Clairvoyance


As recently reported by the Discovery Channel, in identical blind tests conducted simultaneously by Researchers, one a self-proclaimed Skeptic and one a supporter of ESP, a small, but significant, deviation from the statistically calculated results were recorded on the side of ESP.

The Researchers were not only investigating ESP, they also were investigating the effect of the beliefs of the researcher on the outcome of the experiment.

Their results showed no deviation from the statistical for the skeptic, but a small yet significant deviation for the supporter. This finding lends support to the theory that the belief of the researcher can influence the outcome of the experiment, and at the same time, lends some credence to the ESP phenomena.

The results of the supporter were only 0.02% deviation from the statistical, but considered high enough to warrant further investigation.

ESP and Clairvoyance have existed since the dawn of man. It is only relatively recently that their existence has been called into doubt. The lack of positive results when test were conducted by skeptical researchers have led to this doubt.

Many times in the past, when researchers obtained positive results, and their test were then independently conducted for verification by skeptical researchers, the results could not be duplicated. This inability to duplicate results is a mortal sin in science, which adheres to the principle that any experiment that cannot be duplicated must be considered as evidence against it’s validity.

The thought that ‘thoughts’ can influence the experiment was not even considered until quite recently. With the advent of quantum mechanics, this hypothesis is now given some serious consideration.

All scientific researcher are still perplexed as to the mechanics of ESP and Clairvoyance. It is the phenomena’s seemingly counter scientific, and wholly intuitive properties that keep ESP and Clairvoyance from succumbing to "legitimate" scientific investigation.

Thoughts on how they work:

All minds are linked together. All our thoughts and memories are in another dimension. This dimension is just one of the many that entwine to create our universe. Consciousness is the link between our brain and the dimension of thought. People with ESP and Clairvoyance have developed a limited ability to access this dimension.
