Welcome to Mother's House Publishing, nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak where Katherine Lee Bates was inspired to write the stirring words of "America the Beautiful" in 1893. The abundance of natural beauty in this area, coupled with pride of citizenship, has resulted in an afghan design encompassing the entire Pikes Peak Region.

How an Afghan was Designed by a Publisher
Working in a renovated horse barn with beautiful vistas of Pikes Peak, and Cheyenne Mountain, and overlooking Garden of the Gods and the Woodmen Valley, Mother's House Publishing has been producing quality goods since 1986. The Colorado Springs Afghan was inspired to be a Commemorative Afghan reflecting the depth of the Pikes Peak Region.

About Mother's House Publishing

Mother's House Publishing was founded in Worcester, MA in September of 1986 with a full color posters entitled Comfort Suggestions for Labor, an obstetric graphic for parents, childbirth educators and hospitals. Our intent was to produce the finest quality graphics for educational purposes in the marketplace. We are now headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO at the foot of America's Mountain, Pikes Peak, where we continue to publish our own designs and have expanded to include the creative ideas of our customers in the form of books, newsletters, educational curricula, pamphlets, posters, advertising, logo development and so forth.. At the present time we operate out of a charmingly renovated horse barn on a two and a half acre site on the north end of the city not far from Nav Press, the Cook Publishing Company, and Focus on the Family.
