AKA MotherDog

In our post modern grief, nature can be a healing energy. Observing, listening and painting the birds brings a new awareness to my consciousness. Reading about the extinction of birds during the urbanization of America in the 19th century and DDT in the 60's on song birds, seabirds & raptors, brings home the fact: we are the degraders, deciders that can be the rescuers and the restorers.
- Rachel Carson, "Silent Spring,"; 1962

1985-09 Founder, Director, Mother Dog Studios and Museum of Modern Art

1993-00 Director, Buffalo Bayou Artpark

1996-03 Executive Committee, Treasurer, Annual Warehouse Art Crawl
