| Egyptian Goddess of Balance, Justice, Truth & Sacred Order |
In the beginning was MAAT. She is the Egyptian
Goddess of Truth, Balance, Justice, which comprise the Sacred Order of life. She is the daughter of the
Sun God, Ra. Maat is depicted with an ostrich feather in her headband, wearing long wing feathers.
The first law of Maat says, "A light heart is a good heart".

Maat's sacred order of life was perpetuated
by the goddess, Isis and her husband, Osiris, who taught Maat's principles of peace and harmony to
the humans when they began congregating into city-states.

| MAAT at the gateway to the afterlife |
Maat is present at the gateway to the afterlife.
According to Egyptian tradition, when someone died they entered the 'Hall of the Two Truths'. Only the souls who
had lived good lives and had received the proper burial rites could be admitted. To judge if a soul was worthy, of entering
the afterlife, the deceased's heart was placed on one side of the Scales of Truth and the feather of Maat on the other side.
If the heart, where the Egyptians believed the soul to dwell, was heavy with misdeeds and outweighed Maat's feather, Ammut
(also called Ahemait) ate the soul, dooming it to eternal death. If the heart weighed equal to Maat's feather,
the soul earned eternal life in the Duat, the fertile land.
Maat is now re~establishing her Sacred
Order of Life to Earth. White Buffalo Calf Woman is returned to transition us through the 'Shift of the Ages' ,
and she has no tolerance for 'bad warriors'. Meanwhile, Mayan wisdom surrounding the completion
of the Fourth Sun of the Long Count calendar demonstrates that we are being offered amazing gifts from the
Milky Way galaxy for raising our vibration to the light~hearted path.

Around 500 years ago, White Buffalo Calf Woman came to the
buffalo people because their lives were out of balance. According to Lakota elders, this powerful spirit woman
was also sometimes called, "WO OPE", which means "the one who brings the sacred order of life". Out on the
open prairie where you can reach out and touch the night sky, whenever someone spied a shooting star, they would exclaim,
" Wo Ope!" "Wo Ope!" Wo Ope!" Thousands of years ago, when life got irrepairably out of balance,
the spirits protecting Earth would call in a celestial body to upset the Earth's magnetic field. The upheaval which
resulted cleansed Earth of the muck muck. According to the Egyptian Goddess legend, one of these great shakings left
Earth's axis tilted at 23 1/2 degrees.
