Detroit native Steve "Mossberg Slim" Moss got into making music at the young age of 12 when he would create beats and rap with his friends at school. He would soon discover that music was his passion and started dedicating his time and energy to the creation of music.

 

Mossberg subsequently started to create tracks for some of his friends in high school and from around the Detroit area. As his talent grew, so did his love for music. His influences include the rich music history of the Motown sound, the funk era, and 70's soul music.

 

Because of his love for many styles of music and from living in different regions of the country, Mossberg gained versatility in his production skills. This is what separates him from other producers who may only have one style or genre. He is also capable of scoring music for films. Mossberg Slim has over 10 years experience in music production and engineering.
