Miene Schönberg	Simon Marx

Minnie (born Miene) Schönberg was born in Dornum in northern Germany and came to New York with her parents when she was 16. There she met Sam Marx who came from Alsace, France. He then was a dancing teacher but later became a tailor, although not a very good one. His hidden talent was cooking, and he often bribed a landlord to wait for the rent with a meal.
