Kari began working in the computer game industry in 1993 and worked on titles for Activision, and Interactive Magic. In 2002 Sabertooth Games asked Kari to work on their new Warhammer 40k trading card game. Since then he has done art work for numerous trading card, roleplaying, and hobby game companies including Wizards of the Coast, Games Workshop, and Malhavoc Press.
Kari has done a variety of jobs, and has experience on many different levels of the creative process. He has been a senior production designer, an art director, a production artist, and a freelance illustrator. He has managed projects and creative teams and has done web development, educational media, story boarding, computer game concept art, texturing, illustration for film props, cd covers, and toy concept art. He has work published in Spectrum 9 and Spectrum 10: collection of the years best of fantasy art. Now Kari works as a full time freelancer and lives in New York City, with his wife Cambria and a guinea pig named Pig.
