Hello and welcome to my second site of original,

knitted dishcloth designs.
In an effort to keep enough space (to add more free designs!),

I've added this site for all of my newest

knitted dishcloth designs.

Materials: Lily Sugar & Cream cotton yarn, “Sage”    Size #7 US knitting needles

My finished cloth measured 7” x 7 1/4”.

For a larger cloth, use US size 8 needles.

Abbreviations: K=Knit, P=Purl, RS=Right Side of cloth, WS=Wrong Side of cloth, Garter Stitch=Knit all rows, Stockingette Stitch=Knit one row, purl the next.

This cloth has 4 stitches Garter Stitch at the beginning and ending of each row for side border stitches.

Wheelbarrow design is worked on RS of cloth in P stitches.

 

Directions: Cast on 35 stitches.

Rows 1-6: Garter Stitch (Knit each row) for 6 rows.

Rows 7:  (RS) K across all 35 stitches.

Row 8:  (WS) K4 then P27, then K4.

Row 9:  (RS) K across all 35 stitches.

Row 10: (WS) K4 then P27, then K4.

Row 11: (RS) K across all 35 stitches

Row 12: (WS) K4 then P27, then K4.

**Asterisks on Row 20 mean: **Attention! Row 20 is not the traditional K4, P27, K4 row...there are a few K stitches thrown in,

 so that the windows look better on the right side!  :-)
