Dear Students,
It is with mixed emotions that I am sharing that God is calling my family to step out in faith into full time missions. I am both excited and torn because I have been blessed to develop close relationships with all of you but know that God is calling my family into our next opportunity to serve. God has been developing our hearts these past few years through our involvement with the West Virginia Mission Team and various serving opportunities. We have formed a non-profit corporation called Helping Hands RV Ministry Inc (HHRV Ministry), which will serve economically challenged areas throughout the country.
My wife and I have been so blessed that you have trusted us to assist you in your discipleship and spiritual growth these past 3 years. With God’s help and many dedicated adult leaders, we have created an exciting ministry that has served each and every one of you. The 321 Blast Off Middle School Ministry has provided an environment which allows you to have fun and learn about God with your friends. I want to personally thank you for your support, prayers, and time you have invested in the ministry. I encourage you to continue to seek ways to serve and grow in your ministry. These are some of the most difficult years of your lives.
I will be transitioning out of this position over the next two and a half months. This will allow me to help make it as smooth as possible all of you. You are our present and future and deserve our very best. We are making this announcement to honor God by giving the church ample time to seek the person who will be called to lead the middle school ministry. God is faithful and He already knows who this person is.
While in the Tampa area, we will work with St. James, other churches, and other ministries with evangelism, missions, and outreach. We envision a strong partnership with St. James and pray that God continues to use our family to grow His churches. Again, I share this information to let you know I will continue to give 100% to the middle school ministry of St. James until the time comes for me to fully let it go and get on with HHRV Ministry. Thank your for your prayers and for the privilege to walk beside you during your spiritual growth.
