The tradition of fine, hand-made chain is well
over
5000 years old...but the simple elegance and luxury of
a
beautiful chain is timeless. Over centuries, the method
of construction has remained virtually un-changed.
Every link begins with an ingot of
18 Karat Gold
drawn into wire by hand, wrapped on a steel mandrel,
and cut and soldered to a perfect circle. Then the work
of weaving and building hundreds, sometimes thou-
sands of links- one at a time- into a custom chain can
begin.
Meticulous attention to
each detail ensures the
creation of a chain that is incredibly strong, while the
silkiness and flexibility actually improve over time.
Each finished piece is
meant to be worn and
enjoyed not just for years, but for generations.
