like the main tube mitering fixture both the seat stay and chainstay mitering fixtures are all steel construction with
custom block machined to fit your tubes ensuring a rigid setup while not crushing or deforming them. Both fixtures come
with one set of tube blocks. Additional blocks are available for $75.00 a pair.
SEATSTAY MITERING FIXTURE
The sputnik tool seat stay mitering fixture is designed
to firmly and accurately hold your stays on the centerline while easily and quickly adjusting to a wide range of sizes.
The seatstay tool mounts on a tilting table(not supplied) and can be mounted on your vertical machine. A built in scale
allows you to document settings while steel blocks hold stays ecceptionally well reducing the stress involved in
cutting one of the hardest miters to do. A variety of end pieces are available to hold your stays regardless of your
end work. Jig shown was built to hold slotted stays.

CHAINSTAY MITERING FIXTURE
The chainstay mitering fixture can either be mounted on the
main tube mitering setup or can be held in a vise if need be. Built in rule allows you to cut tubes to the right length
the first time, Adjustable spacers can be used to set the width of stays at the widest point of the tire. Fixture
is easily modified to accept different methods of finishing ends. All steel construction ensures a rigid and repeatable
tool.
