Here's a list of recent additions throughout my site:

• We decided that one kitten was just a menace to older cats (although endearing to owners), so we've gotten a second kitten as a playmate, even though we now risk being taken for Crazy Cat People. I've set up little photo galleries for each of them, so we/you can watch them grow -- haven't yet figured out where to link them from (will probably be from the cat or misc. page), but you can see them directly now here: Pixel and Pasha; both should have new photos soon. • We added a new member of the feline persuasion to our family. Lots of photos of her on my blog (JBS below) and in my FlickR photostream, but this spurred me to update my personal cat page to include all three of our current pals. (7/05)
• I've been part of a developing grassroots progressive political force in the Philadelphia area, which culminated on June 4, 2005, in the creation of a new citywide organization, Neighborhood Networks, to work on local and larger issues in a neighbor-to-neighbor level. The organizers are a great group, and our plans are getting a lot of folks excited, which bodes well for its long-term prospects. (link added 5/05)
• Having gotten the blogging bug from my experience with Just Between Strangers, I've started a second one as a route to educating myself about local politics in Southeast Pennsylvania, A Smoke-Filled Room. This coincided with the blossoming of a local Philadelphia blogging community, which has already had identity consequences and may yet have political consequences... People tell me that it's impossible to maintain two blogs, and that's probably right, but for a while at least. (new 1/05; link added 5/05)
• After an over-long absence from singing, I have joined (as of fall, 2004) the Philadelphia Chamber Chorus, a challenging group that sings a wide range of music (classical, contemporary, spirituals, etc.). Concerts in early December and mid-May each year; let me know if you want tickets! (note: as of 5/05, am re-examining whether I have time for this...)
• Well, it finally happened: I set up a blog, Just Between Strangers over at Blogger. This will come as no surprise to those of you who have been getting outraged updates on current events and other brain drips via email through the years, but I honestly wasn't planning it. Will see how it goes. (new 10/1/04)
• I've set up a brag page to celebrate the recent births of our niece Sophie (4/25/04) and second cousin Ryan (5/18/04). Last updated 7/28/05.
  
• Finally overhauled my people links on the Friends and Misc. page, and added a link to my daily reads from work. (April, '04; work links updated occasionally since)
