Revision Notes:
1. The earliest generally available version of Lesson 8 is typewritten. It bears the typewritten date of (Monday), June 2, 1969, the same date as for Lesson 7.
2. The earliest available version of Lesson 8 contains two handwritten editing notes. The second sentence of the second paragraph reads, "To think about it at all is therefore to think about illusions." On the typewritten version the word "illusions" was originally typed as "delusions," but that was marked out with a pen and the word "illusions" written above it. The last sentence of Lesson originally read, " . . . or any emotion that the idea [for today] may induce, in the mind searching itself," with the bracketed words written in.
