When a dog is entered in more than one class, the highest priced class is considered the first entry.

 

Sweepstakes Classes –

Open to all Brittanys at least six months of age, and under eighteen months of age and are not Champions of Record and are entered in the Regular Classes in this show.

The following classes will be provided for both dogs and bitches-

6 months and under 9 months

9 months and under 12 months

12 months and under 18 months

Regular Classes –

The following will be provided for both dogs and bitches –

Puppy, 6 months and under 9 months        Bred-By-Exhibitor

Puppy, 9 months and under 12 months      American Bred

Twelve to Eighteen months                        Open

Novice                                                         Best of Breed Competition

Non-Regular Classes

The following classes will be provided for both dogs and bitches –

Veteran - dogs 7 years of age or older

Field Trial Class -Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion,

or placed in an AKC approved Brittany trial.

 Hunt Test Class -  dog with JH, SH, or MH title

Stud Dog, Brood Bitch – must be shown with 2 or more of get

From the Twin Cities:  follow I494 to US169 S (exit 10B), follow US169 into Jordan

To the Fairgrounds – once in Jordan, turn Right onto Quaker Ave/CR9, then Left onto Valley View Dr W/TWP57 ending at 7151 W 190th St

 

 

 

 

 

POTLUCK PICNIC

Immediately following our show there will be a

pot luck picnic on the grounds.

Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided

by the Club.

If you are a local exhibitor we invite you to

please bring a dish to pass.

If you are an out of town exhibitor,

please be our guest and do not feel obligated to

bring anything but yourself.

 

 

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS

- The American Kennel Club will collect a $3.00 Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog and a $3.00

service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry

classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events.  (There is no recording fee or event service fee for

sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.) The current 50 cent recording will continue to be collected. The event-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Event Service Fees for the American Kennel Club. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2).

 

- Canadian exhibitors must submit entries with checks drawn on US accounts or with International money orders in US funds.

- There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

-Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.

-Dogs allowed in rings during judging only.

-Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging.

-Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the show committee.

-Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check.

-No entry fees will be refunded if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other cause beyond the control of the club or the show secretary.

-No entries will be accepted which specify any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures.

-There will not be space for unentered dogs at this show.

-The Minnesota Board of Animal Health demands that all dogs must be accompanied by a certificate showing proof of current Rabies vaccination.

-The Minnesota Brittany Club, its Show Secretary, Scott County Fair Board, their agents, employees, etc. assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by spectators exhibitors, handlers, their employees or children, etc. or to any of their dogs or property entrants and spectators to this show do so entirely of their own risk.

-The show site will be available to exhibitors at 8:00 am Friday June 5th, 2009. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following the close of the show.

-All trophies/monies must be claimed the day of the show – none will be mailed
