I just fell in Love with the way a CM30 sits in the water
November in the Carolinas,,,,Brrrrrrr
Thank god for my son's help or I would have never got the boat home.
From the sea we came,,,but we sure didn't look like this.
Picture of the old CM30 Beehive, before the demolition, and after. What have I got myself into??????????????
Once I started cutting I soon realized that there was lots of water damage below and this was the best way to save the boat.
The musty smell was wood that was dry rotting from many leaks over the 30 years the boat had been in sailing the Carolinas.
Notes on the progress from Jan 2006 to July 2008
Next; Finish interior, Lights inside and out, Motor controls, Rudder, Standing
Rigging with furler, Safety lines, Drive to Marina and Launch,,,,Mark all complete but now no money for a party
