Welcome to The "ALOHA BANKS" Clipper Marine 30 Web Page!
This web-blog is my online journal of the refitting project on my CM30 Clipper Marine Sailboat. You'll find
a variety of topics on the actual refitting as well as links to other sites on the web that I have found helpfull in
the project.
Here "She" is. This is the boat sitting in her slip on Karr Lake. The boat is now 90% complete. My ne goal
is to have her ready for the spring cruise sailing season.
Well we are close enough to relaunch
but I could not see taking the boat to the marina as Hurricane season starts. I figure we will wait till the end of October
and then put her in for the year. That way I can pull her out next September if I need to.
This is where it all started with Ricki
and me putting his boat in the water and taking mine out. At least the refit. Notice the cradle on the car hauler Ricki designed
and built to move his boat from Maryland to Raleigh with boat unseen.
That’s Ricki's Ford F350 full size diesel pulling the CM30 on our 27’ sailboat trailer.
Be sure to get in touch so I know you're out there! Use the contact page for our e-mails.
