I sold the Chinook to a groovy Renaissance Festival gurl who saw the ad on the internet and drove in from Arizona to buy my trusty steed. Thanks to the experience of making it to all the places I did in a 23-year-old Toyota, I now have as much faith in them as Hondas so today I road trip it in an '86 Corolla. (This is almost sacreligious coming from a native Detroiter but those little cars have saved me mightily in gas and repairs. I'm still loyal to Fords though. I'm paying the karmic debt too by living in New York and trying to park and store a car. Truly a crazy monetary wish for the auto-motivated.)
