9/5/07 - I've decided to leave Magus Beast in order to have more time and energy to put into Castrofate. For the last 3 years I played the bass for Magus Beast on alot of great shows and recorded the bass tracks for their debut album/follow-up to 1996's Agressor-Say Your Prayers album. The time has come for me to get back to guitar and vocals, and I'd like to thank them for the great times and experiences, and all the help and support they've given me for Castrofate. I wish them all the best of luck and look forward to sharing the stages with them ..m/

8/3/07 - Castrofate wanna thank Bob & Rex of COMBAT (formerly Combat Records artists NAPALM during the mid-80s) for filling in on the BASS and DRUMS at the Metal Meltdown 3 at Don Hill's!! 7/11/07 - SHOWS, WRITING, and NEW WEBSITE

CASTROFATE thanks everyone for coming out to the first show at the BROOKLYN METAL FEST!! It was a BLAST and we can't wait to play again!!

The SECOND CASTROFATE show will be on THURSDAY, AUGUST 2, 2007 at DON HILL'S in NYC, as part of METAL MELTDOWN 3!!! We will be opening up for UNTIL DESTINY (Featuring the singer from CITIES), GODS OF FIRE, TURRIGENOUS, and MAGUS BEAST!! CASTROFATE will have a longer set and some very special guests, so get there EARLY as we hit the stage FIRST at 8pm SHARP!!!

Also, the writing and arranging for CASTROFATE's sophomore album will commence within the next 2 months!!

Second annual BROOKLYN METALFEST to take place at the Hook on Friday June 22nd and Saturday June 23rd. This year's event will be a TWO-DAY FESTIVAL with the first band hitting the stage at 7pm on Friday and at 12 noon on Saturday.
