ANCIENTSHere are my armies used for De Bellis Antiquitatis -- a fast-play set of Ancient rules. Each army is composed of 12 stands (or "elements") of troops. Troop types range from among infantry types such as Pikes, Bows, Warbands and many others, or mounted types such as Elephants, Knights, Light horse, etc. I've arranged them chronologically, matching the way DBA rules list them.
Of course, many of the above armies can be used to field others of the 306 armies listed in the rules. For example, I use my Polybian Romans as "Marian Romans," or my Alexandrian Successors as various other Macedonian or Hellenistic kingdoms. This becomes even more true with my Medieval figures, which were purposely painted up as generically as possible, so that I could use them as for the various iterations of Feudal or Medieval English, French, Spanish, etc.
Camps for De Bellis
Antiquitatis (DBA) AncientsOne of my trademarks in DBA is the creation and building of interesting camps. For awhile (when I had more time), I took commissions or built DBA camps to sell online or at conventions. That spare time has all but disappeared, but I fortunately kept a record of all the camps I built and sold (or most of them, I think).
