    Miscellaneous Trip Photos

At the airport in Salt Lake City.

    My first rugby match.

At the ferry terminal 2 blocks from
Tim and Rachel's.  This is where we
caught the City Cat water taxi.

Rachel and Emily in the pool.

Kaitlynn and Mike liked eating on
    the porch in the morning.

    Our hosts Rachel and Tim.

    Can you believe it???  Wild
cockatoos in a field by the
    highway!

This is how we got Emily and
    Kaitlynn around the town.

Mary and Kaitlynn with the City
    Cat water taxi behind.

Mary on the balcony at sunset.

    Girls gone wild.

At a local park 2 blocks from
Tim and Rachel's where we would
take Kaitlynn in the mornings to swing.

    Brisbane - New Farm Park

    What a great park just a 30-minute
ferry ride from the condo - right on the
    river.

Southwest of Brisbane - Mount Tamborine Nat'l Park

There is a tree growing inside
    the outer tree.

Kaitlynn's method of hiking - hitch
    a ride with daddy.

South of Brisbane - Gold Coast - "Surfer's Paradise"

    Kaitlynn on the Surfers Paradise
beach.  It was REALLY wide, and
very clean.  We didn't get into the
water this day due to weather.

Brisbane - Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

    These are WILD lorikeets.  The
sanctuary feeds them twice daily.  About
100 of them came from the surrounding
trees at feeding time.  Boy was it loud!

    The sanctuary had many wallabies
and kangaroos for us to feed.

The first Koala bear any of us
had ever seen.  He's coming down from
    the tree.

North of Brisbane - Sunshine Coast -
    Mooloolaba Beach and Glasshouse Mountains

    The Glasshouse Mountains are
    aboriginal holy grounds.

We saw some wild kangaroos about
a mile from this lookout site.

East of Brisbane - North Stradbroke Island

North Stradbroke is a ferry ride
to the East of Brisbane.  Drive
to the North end of the island and
the water is perfect.  It's on the
Southern tip of the Coral Sea.

We all did some snorkeling for
    sea shells in between kid-watching.
Kaitlynn wanted little to do with the
    water.

    Brisbane - Botanical Gardens

These strange trees try to grow
roots out of their main branches.

    Cairns - Diving

On the way out to a dive site.

A fish which was eating scraps
from lunch while we were at sea.

Mike acting goofy on one of the
    dives.

    The photographer handed us a
    Pineapple Sea Cucumber.

    Mike about to bite in.

    Brisbane - Mount Koot-Tha

    Downtown Brisbane behind the ladies.
