Stolen Paintball Registry

It's very sad if someone has to steal your paintball gun.  DO something about it!  Protect yourself before this happens to you!  Make sure you take pictures of your gun and WRITE DOWN the serial number!  I know this is common sense but you will be amazed on how many people will post "my gun was stolen" on these registries and yet have NO information to give!

1)  Take pictures (digital preferred)
2)  Write down serial numbers, store that in a safe place!  If it does not have a serial number, you can have something engraved on it (your name or something.  DO NOT engrave your SSN.
3)  If your gun is stolen, make sure you call the local police and request a report done! Any witnesses? Anything is better then doing nothing.
4)  Send a letter/flyer to ALL your local pbfields and pbstores in your area and ask them to keep an eye out for your gun.
5)  If it is a "high value" gun, report this to all your local pawn shops too!

It would be easier to print up flyers if the picture was in digital format.  A visual of your gun and serial number helps. For the most part, you will have to be a registered user to post to these forums.  It will take time and effort on your part to do it.  But the jerk that stole your gun took effort to steal it, you need to make an effort to get it back.
