This is how I want to remember her. I adopted Cardamom from the Humane Society in February 2001. We became friends the moment we saw each other. Two months later, she fell seriously ill. Her spirit was released on Good Friday 2001. Cardamom was the best of cats: gentle, genuinely affectionate and playful. She loved to burrow under the covers on the bed. (I had to shut her out of the bedroom at night. She would get under the covers and kick.) Even though I shared my home with her for only two months, I treasure her memory as my first cat. |

| Cardamom died from Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a viral infection which she may have picked up when she was a kitten. HDW Enterprises/ Foothill Felines has an excellent page on FIP; to read more about this serious disease, just click here. | ||
