But, often when I'm waking, I'm shivering, cold and blue.

2: We'd even changed the mattress from full to queen, then king.
Despite the wider sizes, it didn't change a thing.
The sun would rise each morning to start the day again,
revealing that I'm naked and on the losing end.

I'm not the only victim of this conspiracy.

to keep our blankets sacred on all those cold, dark nights.
