There isn't a converter for Word to WordPerfect. Check out Dataviz's MacLinkPlus, which includes a translator.

Otherwise, you could ask the WordPerfect user to save the file as RTF and then e-mail it to you. You can open RTF in Word and then save it and send it back to be opened in WordPerfect.
