Office 2004

In Office 2004, use Microsoft AutoUpdate to get the latest updates. From any Office application, go to Help > Check for Updates (or manually launch Microsoft AutoUpdate from the Applications folder). If any updates are needed, they will display in a sheet, at which point you can check them and press the "Install" button to download and install them.

Updates can also be found at the Microsoft web site. Currently, to be up-to-date, users need the 11.5.0 update.

Office X

Download and install the Office X 10.1.9 update.

Office 2001

Download and install the Office 2001 9.0.6 update.

Office 98

Download and install the latest Office 98 updates in this order:

1. Microsoft Office 98 / Mac OS 9 / Excel Y2K Updater
2. Microsoft Word 98 / PowerPoint 98 Updater
3. Combined Updater for Office 98
4. Microsoft Word 98 Security Update: Macro Vulnerability
5. Microsoft PowerPoint / Excel 98 Macro Vulnerability Update
6. Microsoft Office 98 SSL Security Update
