Macintosh & Free Downloads

I created this site because I have a strong interest in computers, particularly Macintosh computers. For those of you who are computer-illiterate, Macintosh is a brand of computers sold by Apple. Macintosh computers are the only computers that run Mac OS X, a world-class operating system based on Unix. Not only is it rock-solid and stable, but it's friendly and easy-to-use.

Many free downloads exist for Macintoshes. This is a compiled list of freeware that is truly high-quality software. This software is for your enjoyment. Most of the programs are available for both mac and Windows.  If you are unable to download software due to a dead link from this site, please e-mail the webmaster.

Please note: you may need decompression software to use some of the files below. I highly recommend the free StuffIt Expander, available for both Mac OS and Windows.
