Finding Help If you check the links page, you'll find some links to FAQs that might help you with your problem. Three of notable interest include The PowerPoint FAQ, The Entourage Help Page, and the Word MVP FAQ Site. (For Entourage help, check out the Top 5 Entourage Resources.) Also, be sure to check Help for whatever application you need help with. Nearly all applications include a Help menu where you can find help on whatever software you are using. It might seem as if the information there is quite basic, but many Help files include a wealth of information. If you still need help, I recommend you join a newsgroup or mailing list. Below you can find lists of official newsgroups and mailing lists you can try for issues with Microsoft products for Mac. Microsoft
Mac Newsgroups Instructions for setting up newsgroups can be found on Mactopia. If you want to use a free newsreader because you do not have Entourage, get Outlook Express for OS 8/9 (if you have X, you can run it in Classic). There's also an extensive list of newsreaders on the Newsreaders.com site. |
