Burlap to protect the edge of the bell.	My practice room! Leaned it against the cage so that I could hold the darn thing while practicing. If you look at the music stand, the tuba doesn't look that big. If you look closer, the music stand is all the way up and the chairs sitting on the floor are stacked 3 high!!
