This is a HD LCD 400W TV projector with remote control. It has cable, rca and dvmi inputs. It uses a HID gas bulb which produces less heat and uses less electricity than a 250W projector bulb and costs $10 to replace. The color temp is 4200K for this bulb. A 6500K HID bulb costs about $75.

Aluminum roofing flashing is used as a conduit to reflect as much light as possible through the lcd screen and keeps the temperature of the mdf housing cooler. A plexiglass window shields the lcd from the heat of the bulb. Two 120 mm pc fans which flow 70 cfm each at 37 db combined cool the bulb. The rear fan blows into the cavity below the bulb. The upper fan draws the heated air out of the area directly above the bulb.

Still working on it as of today 03/22/2009.
