The muffler is a Spintech for a camaro cut down in length to fit a fiero. The headers are made from factory tubular headers that were cut up and sectioned to fit, feeding a 2" Y-pipe into a 2.5" pipe in the stock location, 2.5" standard replacement catalytic converter, then back to the spintech and split into dual tips, like the 1982 and newer camaro. The hangers use the stock miata rubber hangers with steel rod welded to the exhaust pipes and bent into a hook. The flanges are at the muffler, cat, and Y-pipe.

On a stock miata, the fuel lines, brake lines, and fuel tank vent line are routed right where the exhaust header needs to be on any engine swap with a passenger side header. I rerouted the lines up into the center of the tunnel where they protrude from the firewall, away from any exhaust.

A small gear reduction starter provides more exhaust clearance and weighs only 7.5 lbs, 13 lbs less than the old starter.
