Frankenstein
Created Woman (March 1967)
Starring Cushing. Another in the Hammer Frankenstein series, of course.
Very strangely, this one does not deal with the good doctor creating a
being from transplanted pieces of dead tissue, but by means of a soul
transplant.
"...An old and dear friend...Highly professional...I remember only
happy memories in my personal and professional association with him."

Blood
Beast Terror (June 1967)
Starring Cushing. Also known as Death's-Head Vampire and (yikes)
Vampire-Beast
Craves Blood. An unusual s.f.-gothic horror hybrid.
"...He turns in an astonishingly good performance that ranks with
his best. What a pity that it should be wasted in such a mediocre film.
But then, that's what makes Peter Cushing – well – Peter Cushing."

Corruption
(December 1968)
Starring Cushing. Another story of a mad surgeon trying to restore
the disfigured face of a loved one, as always killing "donors" along the
way. Done to perfection in the French film Les Yeux Sans Visage,
apparently falling short of the mark here. Prepared in different versions
containing extra gore (for Japan) or nudity (Europe).
"...The only thing I felt about the picture was that it was repetitive
within itself and it had to be, I suppose...I think with a little more
time it could have been made a little more subtle." – Peter Cushing
