On my last trip east I stopped at the Seth Wetmore home only to find that the front parlor was removed to the Wadsworth Athemeum in Hartford Connecticut.  Here is a bit of history related to the room.
 

Another Wetmore relative sent me a copy of the land grant for Seth to build his home.  This was called a Quit Claim Deed.   To my best knowledge, the land was awarded him from King George III because of the ties Seth had with Jonathan Edwards.   A copy of the deed is below.
